About the event
The IICR Project warmly invites you to attend a webinar about data to inform decision-making about Internet resilience in the context of climate change.
About the webinar
Understanding our infrastructure systems and hazard landscape is vital to ensuring communications and Internet resilience – both in the long term and in emergency situations. We need up-to-date, joined-up data to do this.
During 2025, the Internet Infrastructure Climate Resilience Network aimed to build a shared understanding of the current and potential future state for how geohazard and infrastructure data can support communications and Internet resilience. We heard that while there’s already work underway to build this understanding, deep challenges persist.
This webinar is an opportunity to hear from the wider data and resilience community about practical steps for building a thriving data ecosystem to support infrastructure resilience in the context of climate change. Panellists from a range of fields will share their experiences of collecting, joining up and using data to make a difference for Aotearoa New Zealand.
